SCT were delighted to donate to Breast Cancer Ireland’s Great Pink Run fundraiser, which took place on the 19th of October in the Phoenix Park with over 7,000 participants. All proceeds raised for this worthy cause go towards breast cancer research and the Outreach Programme, which educates and raises awareness to schools and companies around the country.

SCT’s Daniel Gill and Steven O’Shaughnessy completed the 2019 Marathon in good times. As always they are full of energy at work which means our clients will continue to get their requested Point of Sale hardware support throughout Ireland.

O’Brien’s Wines, Ireland’s largest independent drinks retailer with 34 stores nationwide have completed their rollout of the latest state of the art Poindus All in One Touchscreen Till Technology, Epson TM88 receipt printers and Zebra DS9208 scanners to all 34 stores throughout Ireland.  The rollout also included a change of POS software to Microsoft’s Dynamic Nav 2018. The successful rollout was completed on schedule. The Refresh involved removing all the old tills and installing new Poindus All in One Touchscreen PC’s and peripherals. The Dedicated SCT Projects team Sourced, Staged, Tested, Installed the Hardware on-site and de-installed all the old hardware for Safe and Secure disposal.

SCT are hardware agnostic, however we have relationships with all the leading POS manufacturers and we only source products where the manufacturer / distributor can provide a high quality product with efficient pre-sales and after-sales support service.

• Rollout of 200 POS tills and peripherals to Mc Cauleys (formerly Sam Mc Cauley Chemists) estate consisting of 32 Pharmacies.
• Rollout of new POS tills to a large discount store carried out from 22.00 to 8.00 without interruption to the client’s daily business.
• Site Inspections for a client’s 4,000 sites in Ireland

Our Projects teams were also very busy with Installing the Stand Structure to mount Large Digital Display Walls.

The Carlyle Cardinal recently invested €50 million in Mc Cauley Chemists and SCT Support will be there to assist in supporting the POS IT requirements as they aquire more stores throughout Ireland.
